WELCOME TO THE ASSOCIATION OF COMPETITION ECONOMICS

ACE brings together competition economists working in government, academia and the private sector. It provides a forum for discussion and debate on policies and specific cases.

​The next ACE conference will take place at the LUISS University in Rome, on the 14th and 15th of November 2025. 

Some program highlights: 

- Keynote delivered by Chad Syverson.

- Plenary sessions on "Competition policy, industrial policy and growth", "Effective remedies in digital", "Competition policy in the telecom industry" and "The role of competition policy in the AI-value chain". 

- Parallel sessions on a variety of topics, representing highly interesting competition cases from several different agencies, both on mergers and infringement cases, as well as policy related topics.  

- The presentation of the"Best paper award"

- And above all the excellent opportunity to meet and discuss with other economists on recent developments on competition policy.

The (draft) program will be announced soon and registrations are expected to open early September!
