WELCOME TO THE ASSOCIATION OF COMPETITION ECONOMICS

ACE brings together competition economists working in government, academia and the private sector. It provides a forum for discussion and debate on policies and specific cases.

 

The next ACE Conference will take place on the 15th and 16th November 2024 in Milan. More to follow here soon.

 

 

 

In the meantime, you can consider the upcoming EARIE conference in Amsterdam on 30th August to 1st September. More information here. A letter from the organizer:

EARIE, the largest European conference on industrial economics, will take place this year in Amsterdam, August 30 - September 1. Natalia Fabra, Volker Nocke, and Ali Yurukoglu will give keynote lectures, and there will be a jam-packed program of academic papers. We cordially invite you to sample EARIE 2024. ACM chair Martijn Snoep will open on Friday afternoon, in the University of Amsterdam’s Aula at Het Spui, followed by Ali Yurukoglu's keynote lecture, and parallel sessions and drinks on the UvA campus (Roeterseiland). On Saturday there will be special policy sessions on “Breaking up Big Tech” with John Kwoka and “Telecom mergers” with Marc Ivaldi, followed by Natalia Fabra's presidential address on reforming the European energy market and diner. On Sunday morning, Volker Nocke will speak about mergers.
